Gambling is legal in Saint Kitts and Nevis, including casinos, poker, horse racing and sportsbetting. In December 1999, the government enacted the Betting and Gaming Control Act of 1999, thereby legalizing gambling. At the same time, the Saint Christopher and Nevis Gaming Board was also established.
A single license is issued by the nation, allowing operators to conduct a variety of online gambling activities.
In order for a company to obtain a license, they must register with a local financial services department. They must include a proposal outlining the business operation and a $2,000 processing fee. If approved, a registration fee of $80,000 is charged, plus an annual licensing fee of $40,000.
The legal gambling age is 21, while the drinking age is 18.
