Shortly thereafter, the government of Liechtenstein granted a license to run an international online lottery and the ILLF launched its first game, Interlotto. Today, Interlotto in known as Plus Lotto, and has become one of the leading lotto games in Europe.

Incidentally, the first Interlotto ticket was sold to the then Liechtenstein Prime Minister Mario Frick. The first ever winner was Liechtenstein's first Olympic bobsledder.

Arthur J. Gallagher (UK) Limited, a Lloyd's broker, insures the jackpot prizes and guarantees the payouts.

All ticket entry fees for any of the ILLF lottery games are held by the Liechtensteinische Landesbank AG to assure that the funds are securely held and paid out when winners file a claim.
