Online gambling in Slovenia is till flourishing despite a ban on some foreign sites.
In 2006, the Slovenian government ordered the country's major ISPs to block some of the major internet gambling websites. Most ignored the orders, however, and the ban did not succeed.
Slovenia does not issue online gambling licenses to any company.
